The 2mm Schneider 4 x 5.65″ Indigo True-Streak Filter is designed to simulate an anamorphic streak effect regardless of the lens, anamorphic or not. Upon light sources, such as the sun, a light bulb, or a candle, long colored streaks emanate to draw attention to a specific part of the frame or create a visually dramatic effect. Depending on the strength and lighting selected, you can easily achieve in camera a variety of results, from subtle to dramatic streak effects.

Creates Sharp, Brilliant-Colored Streaks
This indigo filter creates the effect of a scene or image that has been recorded with an anamorphic lens and then displayed using a complementary reverse projection lens. Within the filter’s glass is a combination of fine line tubes whose action is limited to point light sources. Highlights are reproduced when using optics that do not have an anamorphic design. Additionally, flares can be influenced by rotating the filter’s orientation.
